Biography

Urban Lea is a trance / techno / house music project created by producer Daniel Lea. At 23 Danny has had several releases on labels Simply Recordings, Ora Recordings, Solar Core Records, Emotive Sounds, 10oz Decibels, Real Muzik Recordings and Inspired Records. Urban Lea's style ranges from uplifting trance to pumping tech-trance and techno. Based in St Helens, Merseyside, Uk.

Danny has been producing since the age of 16 with his first release out at theage of 17. After achieving a degree in Audio Engineering, Danny has improved his productions to receive plays off top djs such as Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto and has received radio plays from Dave Pearce on the Uk national radio station - Radio 1. Other djs playing Urban Lea's music are Dj Preach, Suzy Solar, Graham Gold, Big Al, Nikki Elise, Henrik Hernao, Ian Betts, Les Hemstock, Mike Emvee and Gabriel Batz to name a few. Urban Lea's release Crystal Dimensions and Firefly received a solid review from Dj Magazine Mix Mag.

Currently hosting his own radio show on danceradio.gr called Solar Core Sessions Radio which can be heard every first Friday of the month between the times 6 - 7pm Uk Time before Armin Van Buurens ASOT Radio Show. Recently a new label has been started with brother Chris (Sonic Foundations) called 10oz Decibels Records. There are some excellent new tracks due for release through February and onwards. Urban Sonic is also a new tech-trance project created by Danny and Chris which has already received support from the likes of Sander Van Doorn, Graham Gold and many more!
